Every day the sun gives us light, WE can all learn new things and shine bright.

Imagine if everyone had the same opportunities to learn and grow. People with diverse learning needs are likely to need additional resources to help them achieve their potential.

Nowadays with the internet, many more doors are opening for new learning. Let’s work together to leave no one behind, having knowledge and know-how is one piece of the puzzle of inclusion.

A partnership research project was completed between Appy Connections and the University Of Wollongong Internship program.

The aim was to build a framework named ‘The Rising Sun’ which aimed for school leavers to have greater access to information so they can build their soft skills – which are desirable for future employment such as good communication, problem-solving (or choice making), flexibility, teamwork and resilience.
